This is the moment I get to unwind. Just the thought of you gets me excited. You keep me in check. As my timer goes off, I start my checklist. The kids are in bed, the alarm is set, the husband knocked out. Thanks for keeping me organize., my daily chores have been completed. As I slip into my bath and wash off all the funk and stress I inherited throughout the day I listen to you. You play my tunes that I love so much. No one pulls emotions and memories out of me like you do. No one consistently causes oxytocin to flow day in an day out. You are one in a million. As my well deserve bath comes to an end. I feel understood. I feel calm. I feel refreshed. I feel loved. All the things I thought I was missing throughout my day, you replenish in seconds. I love what you do for me. You take away my pain and anxiety. Seeking a little more attention from you, I cuddle up on the couch with a cup of hot tea and I turn you on as you do me. Covered up in my soft blanket and my fuzzy socks browsing all that you have to offer. So many genres to choose from romance, comedy, thriller, suspense. It’s endless, what I can choose from. I am so madly in love with you because you know me inside and out. I love how you always let me choose and if you notice I’m a little hesitant you always offer to help. I choose. I watch. I cry. I choose. I watch. I laugh. I choose. I watch. I get scared or my heart’s about to jump out my chest. I choose. I watch. I use my detective skills while I talk to you figuring out what will happen next and you never tell me to be quiet. I haven’t told you, but you are my everything. You complete my family and I, but mostly I secretly enjoy you the most. You my friend is what makes life worth living. My dear electronics, you are my balance.
